Istanbul Okan University Dormitories

Located on our Tuzla Campus, Istanbul Okan University offers modern and secure on-campus housing with a capacity of 1,500 students. The dormitory complex comprises five buildings—three for female students and two for male students—all within a 5-minute walk to faculty buildings.

Room Options & Amenities

Students can choose from single, double, triple, or quadruple rooms, each equipped with:

• Private bathroom and toilet
• Mini or medium-sized refrigerator
• Desk, wardrobe, and telephone
• Plasma TV
• 24/7 hot water
• Wired and wireless internet Access
• Common areas include study rooms, laundry and ironing facilities, prayer rooms, and TV lounges.

Dining & Services

Dinner is included in the dormitory fee and is served five days a week (excluding public holidays). Additional free services encompass:

• Daily cleaning of rooms and common areas
• 24/7 medical center with nurses and ambulance service
• Psychological counseling through the on-campus OPDEM center
• Access to a fully equipped sports center and swimming pool
• Free on-campus parking (with required documentation)

Safety & Campus Life

Dormitories are monitored around the clock by security personnel and surveillance cameras. A dedicated counseling and administrative staff is available 24/7 to support students.

To enrich student life, the university organizes various social activities such as cinema nights and theater performances. Students also have access to football, volleyball, and basketball courts.

Convenient Location

Our campus is just 10 minutes from Sabiha Gökçen Airport and is easily accessible via public transportation. Shuttle services operate on designated routes and schedules throughout the academic year.
